A little stitcher's folklore: the poppy's link with remembrance began with John McCrae's 1915 poem 'In Flanders Fields', written after the flowers bloomed across the battlefields. Why this kit: based on artwork by Hannah Dale of Wrendale Designs, it includes an alphabet and number line to add a name or date.
