Worst... Purchase...Ever
The workout CAN be good... however, this is the worst large purchase I've ever made... freezes and crashes on every workout. Now it won't even play a workout. Just pauses every 1 second.... not an exaggeration. Buy the Bowflex without the screen for $1k cheaper since the screen is useless. Also starts squeaking after 2 uses. I read this in other reviews and assumed they built it incorrectly, but nope!

Love love it!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have not worked out in a year and a half due to an injury. I wanted something to get back in shape on my own terms without going to a gym. This is the machine! I enjoy my time on it and look forward to the next. It is getting my stamina back! The best part is it doesn't take that long for a workout. You can do however long you want!

You have to see it in person to REALLY appreciate it!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Even though my upper body is strong & I'm a fast walker, I was easily winded. Had a heart "event" a couple of years ago and then later could only last FOUR MINUTES on the dang treadmill! I got my Trainer 1 month ago today. Went from 4 minutes gasping for air to 13 minutes today....no gasping. The space footprint is so very small that there is room for it in my living room. It looks High Tech & looks really great there as well. Easy to follow assembly instructions. My Boyfriend and I put it together...together...with NO fighting! As a former body builder in my youth, I wasn't sure this would be something I'd like. I love free weights, but have to admit that I feel that I get an all around workout for the most part. I'm toning up, getting stronger and my lung capacity is getting better every day. I jump on the Trainer 2 times a day. So glad I invested in the BoFlex!! Oh! AND! Love that it has wheels to move it around!

An improved machine nearing perfection!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had the original M6 Max Trainer for over five years before it wore out with 5 days a week usage. This new M9 is an absolute LEAP forward and does everything the M6 did and everything the M6 was missing. The media screen coupled with the NOT included JRNY app are a game changer for performance tracking, virtual coaching, and scenic workouts. Something I never knew I needed but have made my dedication to finishing each session unwaivered. I also love the flexibility of having different user profiles for different household members.

Get ready to be humbled.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a USMC veteran the best example I can use to describe the workouts is: its like being active duty, working out and running as much as we did being at our top and then going to a spin class to be humbled by a civilian instructor. If you haven't done spin classes, they are brutal. A couple of years ago I purchased the M8 and loved it. After moving and not being able to take it. I knew eventually I would purchase it again when the space was available because of the difference it makes in the shirt amount of time and small footprint it actually takes up. There's nothing this machine won't improve.

Vast Improvement over earlier BowFlex Max Trainers
So, this is my second Max Trainer. My prior M7 served me for seven years before several parts wore out and I thought it was better to replace than to repair. I've used the M9 for a couple of weeks and there are a lot of improvements. The M9 is quieter and operates more smoothly than the M7, even when the M7 was new. The M9 interface is running Android and is intuitive to setup. Pro-tip, after connecting to Wifi and setting up your JRNY account, let the M9 pull the latest updates and let it reboot itself. My M9 behaved much better after the first update. I really like the ability to search for workouts by duration. There is integration with Netflix and some other streaming services, but I wished it had both the YouTube and Twitch apps. The old M7 had a chest HR strap, the M9 uses a wrist strap which is much better. While I'm not thrilled that some functionality appears locked to the JRNY subscription, I'm enjoying some of the subscription-based functions. Bottom line, I enjoy the intensive, low-impact workouts the M9 provides. The M9's small footprint makes it easy to fit in to almost any workout space. Looking forward to getting many years of quality workouts on my M9.

loving it great workout and coaches
I bought the bowflex to help me hopefully gain strength as we get older of course we lose our strength if we don't put it to use. Im 54 work 13/16 hours 3/4 days a week so when i get home i don't want to do a full 30min to and hour routine. With the bowflex i can do 5-10 min early in the morning and get it done and I feel great afterwards.

I waited years to make this purchase due to the high cost, but it is worth the money! Low impact but you can feel it working in minutes. So far no issues, machine works great. The only thing I don't like is the music choices, it's not popular music and I've yet to find any I a song I even recognize on any station, it's weird.

Great training when I can't hike in the mountains
I was looking for a good workout to complement hiking and trail running for days I have to be indoors. Three weeks so far and very impressed with the Max Trainer M9 workouts and JRNY. It was exactly what I was looking for. I had been using ifit for several years and find JRNY to be much better.

Good product easy to assemble
Took me about 90 minutes to assemble. Many different programs through the Journey app. They have short 6 minute workouts that is great to start off with. This is more of a stair stepper movement so your calves are toast really quick until you can build up some endurance. Love it so far, had it about a month. I use it 3 times a week.
