Simply put, it's a beautifully-crafted walking stick. Just gorgeous. I'm 5'9' and the grip portion of the 55" is a bit to high. With they had a stick with a length of 52". Also, to be really nit-picky, they may want to carve straight vertical lines ( in the handgrip potion of the stick. Just to give the holder a better, more secure feeling/grip on the stick. Still, I love this walking stick.

Beautiful craftsmanship but I thought these sticks were supposed to be reasonably straight. Mine is not.

I purchased 2 hiking sticks, first a free form hickory for myself, and a couple weeks later, a free form twisted hickory with a whistle for my wife. Both are very nicely made, solid hiking sticks. I've got about 25 miles on mine and it's been very helpfull giving me something to lean on when my back tightens up (I am more than a little out of shape). My wife has only used hers a couple times (just arrived a few days ago), but it fits her perfectly, and as others have noted, the whistle is quite impressive. We are both, so far, very pleased.

When I opened the sturdy shipping container and saw the stick I loved it immediately. It looked so good and it felt great in my hand. A perfect size. I've received plenty of wow and great looking stick. Thanks Brazo. This is my third stick from you.

Ordered the 55" stick and it arrived as scheduled and well packed. I'm 5''10" and the stick is about 4 inches too tall . I will be cutting the stick after using a few more times to be certain before cutting. The company needs a stick around 51". The suggested size range is too broad. Beautiful wood.

My last Brazos stick came a bit warped, but this latest purchase, a twisted hickory stick with thick, non-sanded handhold, is absolutely beautiful and a joy to use. Lost count of the sticks I've bought from you folks at Brazos, but you've surpassed yourselves on this one! Thank you form a guy with a really bad back situation. Don't think I'd enjoy walking without it.

The walking stick came in a very timely manner and turned out better than expected. Great quality and beautiful to look at. I see it almost just as a decoration to our rustic than mudroom. Haven't taken it out walking yet, but it is very sturdy and I do not see any potential issues. Very happy customer!
