Great machine but a lot of expense!

This machine is wonderful but I must admit it was a true learning curve. It embroiders beautifully but it is difficult to do applique without the extension table (which I had to order). The directions need a lot of work. My suggestion is to have a special education teacher write them. This way they can be written step by step instead of in a technical way (I am a retired special educator and I had to pay for the video to make sense of the process). It is a shame with the cost of this machine that so many needed components such as the extension table and the video had to be purchased at an additional cost (a very expensive cost). I am not in business so the extra expense was a big disappointment. I purchased this machine because I use my machine everyday. I have had many home models and after two years they just continue to break down. I was informed by Tacoma that I needed a professional machine like this one. I hope this does well.

Has never worked properly

I bought this machine as a floor unit with a little over 5 hours on it three years ago. Dealership lost their Brother license to repair. It has never worked properly and now dealership repair can't seem to fix it either. It only has 90 hours on it.

First Multi-Needle Machine for me

First multi-needle machine for me and I am really enjoying it. At first a little overwhelmed with the threading, but once I did it was great. Help videos on the screen are helpful. Had a problem with bobbin, but realized you have to line it up correctly. Then no problem at all.

Big Brother delivers!

Going from a single needle to six was an awesome leap…but well worth it. It is easy to knock out projects one after the other without having to change threads. Easy to use and just hums along.

Very hard to thread

I have NEVER had a sewing or embroidery machine that was as hard to thread as this one. Be prepared to spend at least 30 minutes threading. Embroiders well and is fast.

Really solid machine

This is my 3rd Brother embroidery machine. The quality is amazing! I still have a lot to learn. Love the stitch quality. While I like the included frames, there should be a bigger one for a multi needle machine. Purchased Durkee fast frames which are great (a must have) for difficult to hoop items.

Brother PR680W embroider machine

This perhaps the worse machine I feel I have ever owned. It gives me more trouble than any other machine I have ever dealt with and I definitely regret buying even though I needed a more robust machine capable of more than a single needle embroidery machine.

Next Generation Embroidery for Home or Business

I love this machine - highlights are the crosshair laser positioning (who needs a camera with this feature) and the ability to use WiFi for transmitting files and monitoring progress through your phone via app without having to stay near the machine. Making beautiful stitch outs daily and no problems or issues whatsoever. So happy with my purchase and along with my Brother Sewing machine I'm a longtime customer and the quality is excellent!

Love the Embroidery Crosshair Positioning Laser!

I’m so impressed by the ease of use and efficiency of this machine! The Embroidery Crosshair Positioning Laser ensures perfect placement EVERY time, even when you have to hoop a little crazy to avoid buttons or other decorations! What a game changer this feature is on this great machine. The efficiency of running multiple items without changing threads is a big timesaver and is awesome for home or business use. An onboard locking system helps keep it secure when not in use. It comes with hoops, and accessories to get you started. There are many additional accessories so most any embroidery task can be completed easily!! I am receiving compensation for sharing my opinion about this excellent embroidery tool.

Game Changer!

I absolutely LOVE that I can set up my design then walk away and work on cutting fabric or whatever else I need to do while my machine embroiders. Sending designs right from PE Design right to my PR680W has saved time too!

The word purchase ever

The machine is to expensive and bring minimum attachment.Don’t have the bobbing winder , the threading bobbing has to be purchase separate .

The PR680W comes with many accessories and does have a wide variety of optional accessories available to further enhance the use of your machine. The bobbin winder is a separate purchase, as most users will use prewound bobbins.
