Q: Has anyone attempted to add a shelf inside the individual squares?

A: Please note that the 6 "individual squares" are only about 12" square each. There is hardly space to accommodate a dividing shelf which will only cramp up the squares.

A: The weight limit of this cabinet is approx.. 50 lbs (evenly distributed). Will require a 2-person assembly about 1.5 hours to complete. Additional assembly tools required are a Philips and a flat head screwdriver.

Cute Cabinet, Chips/Scratches VERY easily.
First of all, the cabinet is very cute and I love the pink color. HOWEVER, it was chipping VERY easily as I was putting it together. Inserting screws caused the paint to peel in many places, as well we just slotting it together. The top of the cabinet also got immediately scuffed/scratched while I was assembling. I was very careful, the surface is just SUPER soft. I'm not feeling optimistic on how well it will hold up. Keeping it because it would be too much work to try to diassemble and return.

Beautiful piece with a couple flaws.
It’s a beautiful piece, but had some flaws. One of the doors doesn’t line up very well with the top, and one of the legs would not stay on because the inside of the screw was stripped, so I used some wood glue and am hoping it stays put. It wasn’t the easiest to put together either, but overall I’m happy.

Pay close attention to instructions.
This piece is absolutely adorable and seems sturdy and quality. With that said, the instructions aren’t the easiest I’ve seen. I made two mistakes, one on the second step that I didn’t realize I made until it was nearly complete. Had to take the entire thing apart. It’s the pictures that are hard to interpret. The written instructions are handy but can also be confusing. Take caution when assembling but thoroughly enjoy when it’s complete! PS, I wish the magnets on the doors were a tad bit stronger.

Inacurate measured pieces doubling the assemply process
This product came with lots of inaccurate measures pieces. The two pieces that act as the back boards were too long. I had to buy a saw to cut 2 inches so they both can fit. One of the front of the box doors was damaged ( there a big piece of paint missing), and some of the holes they drilled were two small for the parts to fit in. You typically run into a few assembly issues, but never have I had to buy a saw and cut parts to make them fit.

Maybe the white, so any marks don't show?
It’s sort of not really tall. I’m 5’2 & it is a little below my hip. Please do better than me & research what type of protective clear gloss you can put over it. I try not to use much cleaning spray to wipe it down bc the paint starts to chip off a bit. Definitely try to be careful not to scratch it because it will easily leave a mark. Sort of a bummer to always have to bend down to reach the bottom shelves. Overall an okayish investment for the price.

This little cabinet is just lovely. It’s exactly as pictured, and nicely constructed. Assemble took about 1.5 hours for me alone, but wasn’t overly complicated. So long as you keep in mind that it is made of fabricated materials, I think you’ll be pleased with the product. Perfect for keeping my home office cute and tidy.
