This is very similar to traditional Captain Morgan, however smoother in feel and flavor. We love the shape of the bottle. A great value for an upscale spiced rum!

Smooth and very delicious i have on own with ice but also very good with a mixer ie coca cola lemonade but make sure u add the ice it's amazing to drink.

Captain Morgan has always been my rum of choice. Although, I prefer white rum for cocktails, Captain Morgan Private Stock has become my dark rum of choice. I normally do not drink rum neat. However, I enjoy sipping on a shot of Captain Morgan Private Stock. Captain Morgan Private Stock Pairs well with Coca-Cola Classic to create an upscale rum and cola cocktail. I love the rich vanilla and caramel flavors that make Captain Morgan Private Stock unique. I highly recommend drinking Captain Morgan Private Stock responsibly.

Captain Morgan Spiced Rum was a staple when I was younger, often bogged down Diet Coke or Sprite. But now that I am older, I want a smoother rum and this Private Stock is excellent. On the rocks or sever straight up is best!

If you like Captain, you’ll love this private stock. It’s smooth and tastes great alone or mixed to your liking. So much better than the regular stuff. A little on the pricey side but definitely worth it.

Purchased this on advice of a friend. I never cared for spiced rum on the rocks before, but this is smooth and well balanced. It’s good for the times I don’t want the burn of whiskey. This is worth the small premium price.

I was a Capt Morgan fan for several years before switching to the Kraken Black Spiced Rum. I was at a corporate event for the guitar industry (open bar). I was a bit disappointed when they didn’t have The Kraken but the did have Captain Morgan Private Stock. This I had never tried before so I took a chance, asked the bartender to add just a splash of Coke. I returned to our table and took a sip. This isn’t your usual rum. It sported a rich aroma and flavor that took me by surprise. It was smooth with a warm comforting finish. A splashed mine with Coke, I think next time will be straight up on the rocks.I don’t think it needs anything Edison at all.

Staple In my liquor cabinet … much smoother than regular captain Morgan to me and I love it
