Bold rum that works wonderfully for drinks, desserts , and cooking strogonoff.

Captain Morgan 100 Proof Spiced Rum is excellent for mixing drinks, but it is also amazing for cooking! I love using it in desserts for a rich spiced flavor, and it adds an incredible depth of taste when flambéing beef strogonoff, wich is my family favorite dish. It has a bold kick, smooth spice notes, and great versatility for both cocktails and recipes.

Great buy for the money.

This alcohol is such a good mixer for drinks. The taste is smooth, bold and strong which we like. The smell is amazing when you open it. If you choose to drink it alone you can really taste all the flavors in it. Great buy.

It has great packaging and great aroma! There only are a few ingredients and the aftertaste was nonexistent! Pleasantly surprised! I will continue to buy this over other rums.

Perfect for mulled wine

I love adding this to mulled wine during the holidays. It adds such a rich flavor that you really can’t beat. The finish is so neat and almost crisp so it’s also just very drinkable.

Interchangeable

Love the flavor and how versatile this rum is. I use it for tropicle drinks as well as diet sodas to kick up the flavor and give it a punch. The guys enjoy it will a cola and the ladies love their smoothies kicked up a notch.

Spicy and strong

Stil has a nice smooth texture even though it is higher proof than the normal 70. Slight burn but better if drank with something else. Very vanilla, spicey, and caramel which is nice for strong cocktails.

Listen, as someone who spends 40 plus hours behind a bar, I’ve seen plenty of rum trends come and go. I have watched craft spirits take over the back bar and complex bitters become the norm. But when Friday and Saturday night rush hits and the orders start flying, there remains one bottle I’m always reaching for first when a rum and coke is requested! The Captain is ICONIC and use 100 proof for a kick! Don’t forget the lime!

Old faithful captain Morgan lol I’ve had my share of this spiced rum over the years. The flavor itself is smooth with a kick of spice. Really great paired with a cold coke.

Rum & Fun

Captain Morgan Original Spiced Rum was my first time trying this type of rum, and I wasn’t sure what to expect. On its own, it was quite strong for my taste. I enjoyed it much more when mixed with ginger ale—it was smooth and really delicious. However, when I mixed it with Coke, I didn’t enjoy it as much, even though I know that’s a more popular pairing.

I learn my lesson the first and last time

I never had a liquor smack me so hard. First time I tried this I don’t even remember how in the lords green earth I go home. It tastes so good has a versatile texture that can complement any mixture practically guzzled it and paid with my memory of the events that happened.

Go to. Cheap. Good middle shelf options. Price point makes it Perfect for cocktails for multiple people or a last minute grab. Super versatile. Sub for an old fashioned go sickly sweet on a spiced pina colada orrr…….. lavender, rose, honey …andddd..espresso?????

I think this is a pretty smooth rum with a good spiciness and not too sweet. I prefer this to other mainstream brands & always get a bottle in at Christmas!

I got the larger bottle which has a handle and make its easy to carry and pour. Captain Morgan has always been a classic rum, so it’s good. Unsure about the “natural flavors” , though 🤔
