Awesome Game Changer
We bought Cities and Knights when we were ready for more than just the original base Catan game. The directions were a bit convoluted, but we read them thoroughly. Once we got going, the expansion rules weren't too challenging to understand. It brought a nice twist and change of pace to the original game. For context, my husband and I play it with my kids who are 15 and 17. Younger kids could play the game except they could get out strategized by a more mature player (kind of like Monopoly). If you're looking for an expansion that allows more than 4 players, this is NOT the type of expansion you are looking for. This expansion brings new elements to the game. If you're looking for a strategy game, Catan is awesome. I only wish we discovered it earlier.

It feels cheap the knights stickers have to be put on by your self. The booklets are small and feel cheap low quality.

Best catan expansion
Really fun game to play but don’t forget this is just an expansion you need the red box catan in order to play this board game..
