Love that it is an at-home escape room, but the game set can only be used once
I love that this is an at-home escape room, and the premise seems fun. I do hope that the age listed of 10+ is accurate, because we're going to try this as a family. The instructions specifically say not to look at everything before playing, so I didn't unpack it all. I do like that there is a free app that can be downloaded if you don't want to read the instruction booklet. Looking forward to playing this and having a fun family night in.

Great challenges!
So this is my very first Exit game and I was totally confused at first. I finally figured the whole objective is to work together to solve puzzles and riddles to explore the island of Catan and build a new life. It did take us a few hours to catch on but once we finally did it was pretty decent. The challenges weren't too complicated but I do believe that since this was my first time it was harder for me. Overall, good game.

Challenging Game Night!
Beautiful graphics and a challenging puzzle made this a fun, escape room-style experience. It’s great for older kids, teens, and adults who enjoy solving problems. The downside is that it’s a one-time play since you have to write on and cut pieces. Still, a great choice for game night!

Fun Game But For Only One Time Play
This was a great game to play that was pretty similar to the original! I liked how the rules were pretty similar, the layout looked good and it was pretty fun to play. The only thing I didn't like that it's meant for one time only play, and I do mean one time only! I wish this game could be played multiple times instead of just once! Please fix this game, Exit The Game!

Great travel game for the family!
Great game for the family! My family and I recently got into escape games so this was wildly loved by everyone. The great thing is that the box is so small that it made for a perfect travel friendly game.

Fun game for trips
This is the first time I played CATAN game. It is a bit complex to learn it first time. Once you understand it , the game is engaging. The size is perfect to take along while traveling. A good escape game to play with friends.

Very fun game
Real complicated game as I have never played catan before. We looked up help a couple times but eventually got through it. Had a bunch of fun took a couple hours but would recommend . Played in a group of 4 players. Art is phenomenal .

Great game!
Firstly, let me say that I love the travel size of this game. The fact that it is also and involved game and not too simplistic, makes it nice to have on vacation with adult adults or older children. The box and everything else is well made . Doesn’t take up too much space in the game either!

Great!
I loved playing Exit the Game: Adventures on Catan! It's such a unique twist on the classic Catan game, with an escape-room-style adventure that adds a whole new level of excitement. The puzzles are engaging and challenging, and I enjoyed working through the game with friends. It's a great option for fans of Catan or escape games - definitely worth checking out!

Great game but single use
As a family who enjoys Catan, this game was a great addition to our weekly game night rotation! Super fun and great for all ages (directions say 10+). The only drawback is that this is a single use game since you have to write on and cut game pieces. Still makes for a great gift for your favorite game fan!

Let the Adventures Begin!!
This is my first introduction to this series and this kind of game. It’s interesting to say the least!! This is a ‘novice’ level game so anyone can readily adapt to it. If you're a fan of escape room games and the world of Catan, then EXIT: The Game - Adventures on Catan is an absolute must-play. This game brilliantly combines the strategic resource management of the island of Catan with the thrilling puzzle-solving of the EXIT series, creating a unique and deeply satisfying experience. What makes this game so great is the way it integrates the two themes. You're not just solving random puzzles; each challenge is cleverly tied to the lore and mechanics of Catan. From gathering resources to dealing with robbers, the puzzles feel like a natural extension of the Catan universe. The puzzles themselves are incredibly clever and range in difficulty, ensuring that every player has a chance to contribute and feel a sense of accomplishment. The components are high-quality, and the game's design is intuitive, guiding you through the narrative without holding your hand too much. The story is engaging and provides a perfect backdrop for the challenges. It’s the kind of game that draws you in from the first puzzle and doesn’t let go until you’ve reached the final conclusion. Overall, EXIT: The Game - Adventures on Catan is a fantastic cooperative game that provides hours of fun. It’s perfect for a game night with friends or family and offers a truly memorable experience. It's a testament to its creativity and a stellar example of how great concepts can be combined to create something that is tremendously engaging.

Fun one time game
This sounds like a fun game. You can only play at once and then it’s done with, but it takes hours would be really cute for a family that has teenagers so they could kinda get the hang of it better than young

Awesome Game!
Adventures on Catan: Exit the Game is a brilliant twist on the classic Catan experience. It combines the strategy and resource management of Catan with the puzzle-solving and mystery of an escape room. The result is an immersive adventure that feels both familiar and fresh. What makes this special is the one-time playthrough. You and your group work together to solve riddles, make discoveries, and progress through the story. The puzzles are clever and varied—challenging without being frustrating—and they tie beautifully into the Catan theme. Even though it’s a single-use game, it’s absolutely worth it for the experience. It delivers a memorable night of teamwork, suspense, and surprise. For fans of Catan or escape-room style games, this is a unique and exciting must-play.

So fun!
Myself and my fiance played this game and thoroughly enjoyed it! We’ve previously played the catan board game but hadn’t played any of the exit games. This was our first, and isn’t our last. This one took a lot of thinking outside of the box, or inside the box I suppose. The fact that anything, old things or things you don’t even realize might be clues kept us entertained. We played this for hours, taking our time and not worrying about speed which turned into a lot of fun electronic free quality time together. This game is a lot of fun, it is one time use but I think that it’s honestly worth it if you like puzzle/escape room type feel games.

Compact version of a familiar game
This is a nice compact version of a game that usually takes up a lot of time and space. It’s still not a super short game but can be played with fewer people. Age range seems appropriate and younger players may need some help.

If you like DD, you would probably be into this
We got lost in the instructions. I feel if you are into longer role play games, you would love this. There are riddles and maps, pretty cool set up for someone loving that genre. For me personally, we struggled to keep everything straight and didn't quite get it.

Escape Room Meets Board Game
I had heard of a game called “Catan” so I went ahead and got this game. I had no idea what I was getting myself into and realize a little late that maybe I’m not much of a game person; however, we did finish the game! This game was a little confusing and we may have used YouTube to help us understand all of the directions as we were setting up, but I’m pretty sure that was just a “me” problem. We quickly experienced (and read in the instructions) that this is a ONE TIME PLAY type of game; there is no going back! Thankfully, there are help cards for those that are less puzzle game inclined, as we learned we were. After 2 hours and finishing the game we did agree that it was worth it and fun, just not what I was expecting, what was I expecting? Honestly I don’t know.

Directions too confusing
I had older teens that were very excited to try out this game, as strategy games are right up their alley. Unfortunately, they were left frustrated and confused and unable to finish the challenge. The feedback given was that the directions were not thorough and were too confusing. I am unsure if the game would have resulted in a different opinion if adults had attempted the game. Please note that this is a single-use game. The price point is average when compared to traditional games, but for an evening of fun, the price point is reasonable. My feedback would be to provide more thorough directions or adjust the age range.

One time use - escape room style game
We love playing family games but this one is only able to be played once, which I’ve never had before. It has high quality materials, colors and artwork but they are meant to be drawn on and even ripped and then discarded since it’s an escape room style game. There are lots of materials and cards, which can be a little bit confusing to try to understand. It took us a while to even set it all up and try to understand the directions since we’ve never played exit games before. The reason for tge lower rating is it was a little confusing to understand the rules & game play as well as only being able to use it once. Total play takes around 2 hours without set up. Cost would be less than taking four people to an actual escape room but it feels wasteful to just use once and throw the game away. We prefer games that you can play over and over! The only thing I can think of is it might be fun to play with a large group of friends and buy multiple games, split into groups of 4 people, and then see who finishes the game first - make it a competition! Game is for 1-4 players and ages 10+. I think it’s better suited for teenagers and adults!

Exit the Game Catan
This game is pretty fun. You have to solve the riddles. The game requires you to write on, cut and fold the game pieces. So the downfall is that this is a one time play. The game is recommended for 10 and up and takes 1-2 hours to play.
