I found the setup to take a little longer than other board games I usually play, and I had to read through the instructions a number of times before the first time I played to understand it. I like that its for 2-4 players; I think that is an appropriate number for this kind of game. The game reminded me of Clue and had a similar idea; Murdle was just a different setup of how to get to the conclusion via the logic game. Overall, it was entertaining and I'd play it again.

We all believe to be Jr. Agents and solving these games is perfect for our entertainment. This game includes all the clues, note files, and evidence cards, and we just have to put our thinking caps on.

Although the age suggestion is 12+, my 9 yo daughter had no problem catching on. The instruction were clear but I would recommend reading through them completely before beginning and then keeping them handy to reference. Who hasn’t daydreamed about being a detective and catching a killer? For a children’s game this can get pretty intense. You have to search through the evidence to get clues for who the murderer is and then strategically make accusations. This is not a quick form of entertainment; it is akin to monopoly. With summer quickly approaching I think this game levels up family nights and is enjoyable for all ages.

Got clue cards, red “X” stickers, and notebook to write down suspects. No screen, just thinking and talking, very healthy. Easy to understand, but make you think hard. Good quality time, good for kids. I highly recommend for family night!

I was excited about this purchase (considering that I bought it somewhere else) but I feel as if the book was a bit better than this. It's a good practice and learning tool, but if you're an avid Murdle fan, you're better off with the books over this.
