Description

Wavelength is a party game where two teams compete to read each other’s minds. It’s a thrilling experience of TALKING and THINKING and HIGH FIVING that anyone can play—but it also has some of that deep word game sorcery, where your decisions feel tense, strategic, meaningful. Each round, one player has to guide their teammates to guess where a hidden target is located. But they can only give a clue on the spectrum between two concepts, like “Hot - Cold” or “Fantasy – Sci-Fi.” And the closer to the target’s center, the more their team scores!

At first, this was really hard to figure out. You can choose either to play the board game alone, or you can download the app and use that. The app was easier and more fun! We laughed harder than we have in a long time! And you can play anyone in the world! Loved this game!

Our family loves this game. We play adults only or with our little kids and it is always fun. I like games where I get permission to argue about the answers and debate what is truely SciFi vs Fantasy or Appropriate vs Inappropriate. We can play for just a few minutes or hours. So much fun!

This game is a favorite at my house. I've loved playing with friends, family and even my kids. (I do have to chose which cards to play with the kids.) We've even had fun comingup with our own cards to play with the game.

So glad Tryazon and Asmodee selected me to host the Wavelength game party. Wavelength is such a fun game that can be played with 2-12 people. It’s an easy concept where teams take turns rotating dials to where they think a hidden target is located on the device. I played with my family first to get the gist of the game and we had fun then I played with only adults and we had a blast! It’s fun the see the difference of the way people think.the game runs about 30 minutes or so.

Wavelength is a fun, easy to learn game! You try to guess what others are thinking which makes it fun for friends, family, or strangers! I played it as an icebreaker game with new friends at a party and it led to some funny conversations as we tried to guess what each other were thinking! It also isn't too long of a game to play or set up which makes it good for anyone from a casual board game player to someone who hosts a lot of game nights. I'd especially recommend it to anyone who likes games like Codenames.

I received this game for free from Tryazon and Asmodee in exchange for my honest opinion. We played this game for the first time with a group of 6 friends. Honestly, this game opened up so many conversations about topics we rarely talk about with each other. Some were serious, others were hilarious. This game can go on for hours and people want to keep playing more and more! We loved it!

Fun game, and super easy to learn. I would say it’s good for a family night, but maybe better for adults, as kids don’t necessarily think the same as adults. Lots of fun though!!

Everyone loved Wavelength

I was given a copy of the game “Wavelength” by Tryazon for my honest review. At home, we played the game as 4 people and it was a lot of fun. My teenage boys really it. Then at game night we played with 10 adults and 3 other tees. The adults loved it and the teens thought it was funny to yell comments at us! The game is a lot of fun and depending on the clue giver and how well you know each other you can be spot on or waaayyyy off! One clue that everyone had a problem with was "normal to own vs. unusual to own." The clue given was "refrigerator." Both sides thought this is something that everyone owns, so the dial must be all the way to the left. When it was revealed, the target area was dead center and we all balked. The clue giver explained that there are areas throughout the world with no electricity, so a large portion of the world does not have refrigeration... ohkaaay! We heckled him for the rest of the game! Everyone loved Wavelength. Michelle said her brother was telling her about playing it and their family loved it, too. Jen said she loved that Wavelength was all contained in one box and would be a great game to take camping.

This is a great date night game. It’s a fun way to see if you and your partner on the same wavelength. Our older children enjoyed it and liked giving clues. There is some downtime between rounds while the clue giver thinks of a clue. This was a pro for our adult friend game nights because we got to visit but for the kids it made it harder to keep their attention. We downloaded the game on the app though and the kids loved it and were much more engaged. Five stars as a game for video calls with family.
