Spin Master Games Rubik's Pulse 3x3 Cube

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughter,9, found it difficult to play in the dark with the lights always flashing. It's impossible to play in the light because the colours are not super in the daylight.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Rubiks cube is so cool .its lights up when you play. I feel like a game and puzzle in one.its fun and tricky game but not a boring at all. Kids and adults both can play and fun.

The glow gives it such a cool vibe in the dark and honestly it makes me want to pick it up all the time. Its smooth to twist, the colors are bright, and it feels like a mix between a puzzle and a gadget. A fun upgrade if you already love the classic cube.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We received this Rubik's Pulse for free from Butterley and Spin Master, for testing and doing a review. Well it's definitely not the original cube lol! We love that the colours were bright. The light behind the colours were sufficient to see the differences. The cube was easy to turn but it was not flimsy. The light flashing for 60 seconds and knowing it's going to end at that time, kind of puts you in a weird frame of mind. It's almost like the jack in the box, except that the cubed's not going to explode lol. As you're playing it, it's almost like you're waiting to hear one of those competitive tv show songs in the background. I do like that it lights up. I'm wondering if there's something different you could do instead of flashing lights, perhaps feeling the pulse softly and then closer to the sixty seconds, it gets faster? All in all, it was fun for both my daughter, who is 11 and myself who is much older! I bought this for my son who is an avid speedcuber. He played with this once and will never play with it again. It's not easy to see the colors in daylight. Then, the lights are too bright when played in the dark. The colors are not pronounced enough and they are hard to tell apart. The constant blinking while trying to solve it is very distracting. This is a very poor product from something that comes from Rubik's. I strongly recommend not buying it. It was a complete waste of money.
