Poor quality

I picked up this lamp at Target's drive up location but was highly disappointed instantly once I got it home, I immediately returned it. The paint looks to be chalky black and appeared already well worn off in spots. I hated the quality and would not recommend. It did not come with neither the metal piece that holds the lampshade nor a lampshade therefore I feel this lamp is definitely overpriced.

Love!

Went in store and saw this lamp shade and lamp base and fell in love. It was perfect for my new entry way console. I had ordered something different, already so waited for that to come on. Well it was way to big. So got on Target.com and ordered the shade and lamp base right away! It came very quick and it's PERFECT! the textures and colors are perfect, exactly what I wanted. It was packaged really well, nothing bent or chipped. Love my new Studio Mcgee burlap lampshade and textured lamp base.

Very Nice Lamp

I love this lamp. It is more of a soft black, but it fits my room decor very nice, it looks chic modern. Online it says this lamp will fit a small lamp shade, but the physical lamp says medium. I purchased a medium lamp shade and it looks very nice.

Great Style and Value

I was a little reluctant about purchasing since the reviews were mixed. I wasn’t sure I actually wanted/needed a true black color for the space I added the lamp. It’s more of a “zinc” color which in my opinion makes it look more expensive than it is, and I feel the color makes it very current. It’s a great lamp and the size is very versatile - I now have two locations I want to put it!

Adorable Lamp

If you can buy this lamp in store I would 100% recommend it. Like many other reviews, one of them arrived completely shattered. I ordered 2 and the other one was fine. It is an adorable, well-made lamp that looks more expensive than it was. I love the dark charcoal base and I paired it with a Studio McGee Threshold lamp shade. I reported the damaged lamp and Target is sending a replacement, which shipped the same day.

Had to return!

Unfortunately, I opened the box to see the base shattered into a million pieces! Of course, it's unknown if the damage occurred at the warehouse, while in-transit on the FedEx truck, or when the box was delivered to our garage door. I am super bummed because I've been searching forever for the right lamp for an end table. I am going to search in-store from here.

Lazy Packing

Arrived smashed. I’m so incredibly tired of dealing with Target over broken items because they can’t be bothered to properly package fragile items. It isn’t rocket science. It is, however, a stunning waste of our planet’s resources to continually throw away brand new products because they can’t be fussed for an extra 7 cents worth of packing.
