Waist is very tight

The fabric is soft and comfortable. My biggest complaint is the waistband is very tight. There is no drawstring; it's just elastic. I hope it will stretch out a little because then they will be great. One thing I thought was weird is the washing instructions say not to dry them. Who doesn't dry their pajamas? I tried drying them anyway. They came out of the dryer still very wet in places like around the pockets so I ended up having to line dry them anyway.
