The new recipe is not nearly as good. it is too salty and over seasoned. the flavor is much different. also missing the bagel chips.

The mouthfeel is a bit grainy but that's to be expected since it's a grainy type of food. I personally like the ingredients, it's a nice mix in my opinion and it comes in a big bag. It's not sticky at all, the crumbs stick to your fingers but all food does that. The bag is not resealable but a bag clip works, or one of those tools that uses a blade to seal it works too.

The mix of crunchy Chex cereal, pretzels, and those iconic rye chips gives you a little bit of everything in one bag. The seasoning is salty, savory, and honestly kind of addictive.

The new recipe has ruined Chex Mix. My first bag with the "chex-tra delicious" stamp was awful. Saltier overseasoned flavor that made it hard to eat more than a few bites. The ratios are different too with almost no rye chips included. Will not buy again :(

Don’t be fooled by the glowing paid reviews—Chex is obviously covering for the big flavor change, dog knows why they even changed something so beloved and well-known. There’s now an overpowering herb flavor—something like caraway or dill, that lingers long after eating. It’s not unpleasant but what a departure from the “traditional” recipe.

I had my reservations because the original is already good and I'm a firm believer in not fixing what isn't broken. But I was pleasantly wrong on this. The garlic & herb flavor is so savory and isn't overpowering. It builds in a good way and then almost starts tasting like seafood. They're so delicious that you start to lose self control. I had to pour some in a bowl to keep from eating the whole bag. I shared some with my husband and he wanted to steal the bag. I will definitely get these again.
