    Better off baking at home

    I bought this beautiful looking cake slice last night at Target, in-store. I picked the one that had the furthest 'best by' date on it hoping it would be somewhat fresher than the other ones. I had a spoonful of it this morning. It's very dry and it has all the artificial/imitation flavors of chocolate in it. Out of curiosity, I read the ingredients and couldnt stop laughing. If you are into food photography it will fit the bill. If you want to eat it, try elsewhere.

    Yummy

    Pretty good little cake! Fresh and moist - Just perfect for one. Did not taste artificial. Not really a fan of the sprinkles, but I just. scrape those off.

    Finally a decent cake!

    Target used to make the best white decorated cakes of anyone with a light almond flavor and and a great decorator's frosting when it first opened its super stores some years ago. Still waiting on their return to that realm, but I tried this chocolate cake slice today and it's a normal decent cake! Doesn't taste like a box mix or weird or one-note in any way. Amazing. I'll buy another......
