Great flush mount lighting

This fixture was great for our room. It had 8 ft ceilings and heavy wood beams which made the ceiling even lower where the beams were. Previous owners had a ceiling fan on one beam, which was over a walkway area the way we set up the room. We still needed light in this area but needed it as high possible, After ordering something that didn't work, I spoke to someone in Lamps Plus' support area and they found this for me. It was a great recommendation and we were able to mount directly on the beam without a box.
