Verge Integrated LED Brushed Nickel Flush Mount Light

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Fixture looks good. Good finish. Good packing. But if you're like me, and your house was built with pancake boxes for all the ceiling lighting fixtures which are only 1/2" deep, you're going to have a very difficult time installing this and having it actually fit flush. I feel like that information should be included, in big bold letters, "NOT SUITABLE FOR INSTALL ON SHALLOW PANCAKE BOXES!" Your box also needs to be inset by at least 1/16" in order for the fixture to sit truly flush. With my plaster and lath bathroom ceiling, I didn't have much of a choice, my house was built with 3.5" pancake boxes, and I absolutely could not get this fixture installed with that. After fighting with it, I ended up needing to pull the 3.5" pancake box and install a larger one. I was able to get the light installed, a 2 hour job for what should've taken only 15 minutes. It looks fine, the light output is superb and maybe overkill for the bathroom it's in, but it works.

Needed to replace several ceiling fixtures in a room that is very dark. These look great, and give even more light than what was there previously. The mounting was tricky bc the holes weren’t lined up correctly with the screws, so I downgrade the rating somewhat.

Easy installation on a popcorn ceiling. A bit of adjustment was needed for a snug fit to ceiling. I hind sight, determining the correct size for the space was a guess. I have a larger unit in our other bedroom which is awesome and even a bit to bright. This second unit is the smaller 8" unit and it is a bit to dim.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We were looking for an unobtrusive ceiling-mount fixture that would provide a decent amount of "warm" light. This fit the bill! We installed 2 of these last year, and we are very happy with them. Based on just my current experience, I'd give 5 stars. However, I haven't had them long enough to deal with issues of longevity and repair. If this is still performing well in 10 years, I'll try to remember to add that extra star!

We used this light in a tight spot in a hallway at the base of our rear steps. Plenty of light, flush mounted and a nice medium light. The integrated LED means no changing lights bulbs.

Installation was easy and the lighting is greatly improved when compared to the old lights. The flush mount blends in with the ceiling and the integrated LED means no more changing light bulbs using a ladder. Light color is a nice medium soft white.

I love the light. I bought it and an electrician installed it. So wasn't a DIY for me.

Great lights. nice and bright, low profile, light weight and easily installed. Also installed dimmer and works as advertised. Installed one, loved it, and installed two more. Worth the money.

I ordered these in two different sizes for my kitchen. My kitchen has never been brighter which is great when cooking at night. However, fixtures are dimmable so I can lower the light on a sunny day. It was an easy installation and the look is sleek and modern.

Very low profile. Exactly what I wanted, so I bought four. Perfect in the closets and laundry room, but a little too bright for a half bath. Deducted one star because it’s seems a little overpriced.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased several of these lighting fixtures for our new home. They fit snugly up against the ceiling, which is perfect for a tight hallway that isn't very tall. Also, I like the soft light it puts out.

I was worried this wasn't going to be enough light for my laundry room but it's perfect, lots of light. Its clean, minimal design looks good and unobtrusive. Only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that the "bulb" /light element cannot be replaced, it's integrated into the unit, so when the light burns out, the entire unit must be replaced. I expect the unit to keep working for many years to justify the design. My bad for encouraging this type of production but after a while you get tired of searching for lights and just settle. At least it looks good.
