Complete Time2 - by Howard Chaykin (Paperback)

Book Synopsis

In a future where time itself has become a weapon, history is no longer fixed--and those with enough power can rewrite it.

Howard Chaykin's TIME² was a work ahead of its time and now with the arrival of its long-awaited conclusion...it still is.

When a mysterious conspiracy reaches across the decades, a cast of criminals, power brokers, revolutionaries, and time travelers find themselves caught in a struggle over who gets to control the past--and, in turn, the future. As the boundaries between then, now, and what comes next begin to collapse, nothing and no one can be trusted.

In addition to remastered versions of the long-out-of-print first two volumes, The Epiphany and The Satisfaction of Black Mariah, this compendium collects the entire story including the new 48-page volume Hallowed Ground0, plus many never-before-seen extras from the project.

From legendary comics creator Howard Chaykin (American Flagg!, Black Kiss) comes TIME², a razor-sharp collision of science fiction, noir, political intrigue, and dark satire.

Review Quotes

"Time(Squared) featured the best elements of Chaykin's finest stories - sexual tension, film noir, hot jazz, dark humor, and strong characterization. But what one really notices was the visual aspects of the series that has never been challenged or replicated by another. There is a style and a joy to the author's work that is rare in any project."-- "Tripwire Magazine"

About the Author

Howard Chaykin is a longtime veteran of the comic book business, serving as an artist and writer for nearly every publisher of comics in the past four decades...and counting. He took the '90s off to work on mostly unwatchable television, so he missed the money and dreck that was comics in that execrable decade. He is responsible, some might say culpable, for introducing a number of previously unexplored themes to comic books. If you're not hip to what that's supposed to mean, there's always Wikipedia.
