First of all it’s ok. But the directions on the burrito is impossible to read.

This one was a miss for me! I was really hoping to love it since the macros are great but I have to agree with the reviews that say there’s a weird aftertaste. I struggled to finish it and had to mask it with a LOT of hot sauce to get through it. Also why were there no heating instructions on the package?

Bought this yesterday and it has to be one of the worst tasting burritos I've ever had. It has a weird taste to it. I couldn't eat it after the first bite.

This frozen bean and cheese burrito is the Toyota Corolla of the freezer aisle. It doesn’t have leather seats, a fancy badge, or a bunch of unnecessary features trying to justify itself. It just shows up, does its job, and somehow makes everyone else look like they’re trying too hard. I went in expecting the usual frozen burrito experience: a questionable tortilla, a cheese situation happening in one tiny corner, and a meal I’d politely forget about. Instead, this thing came out of the microwave like it had been training for years. The beans were legit. The cheese distribution was elite. The tortilla held together like it had a mortgage and responsibilities. Every bite was a reminder that greatness doesn’t always come wrapped in fancy packaging. Just like a Toyota Corolla, you don’t appreciate it because it’s flashy—you appreciate it because it’s reliable, efficient, and somehow better than things that cost way more. This isn’t just a good frozen burrito. This is a frozen burrito that has earned my respect.

How can you make refried beans taste so weird? I could eat some straight out of a can and they’d be better. They’re kind of slimy and have a weird flavor. I added salsa, pico and guacamole and STILL I could barely gag it down.

This burrito smelled disgusting while it was cooking. I checked the package and there’s nutritional yeast in it, which would explain the smell. Could barely take a bite.

Others have said that it just taste…off. Just bad. Also yes, if you try to wrap it in a paper towel when you microwave it, you will instead spend your lunch break dissecting out all the paper towel from your burrito. And then after all that work it’s gross.

Microwave instructions directs you to wrap it in a paper towel only for it to get stuck to it and become uneditable, unless you like eating paper. It also smelled rancid.

Great high protein bean burrito

Yuck?? Every other meal from this company has been alright, if not great. This was a huge flop. I can’t pinpoint what the odd flavor is in this, but not even salsa could mask it.

I really enjoy the frozen Counter meals but this one was not good. The inside looks like peanut butter when cooked and I can’t really figure out what the taste is. I think it’s mostly a bean taste with a very small hint of cheese maybe? But something is not right with the taste.
