Damask Shower Invitations with Recipe Gift Box (25ct)

I like the colors and the recipe box. It does say "Bridal shower" in case you are looking for "Wedding shower".

These are perfect for shower invitations and love the recipe cards for the bride to keep in the box.

This is really for a wedding shower- i bought it for the pretty box b/c other recipe boxes are so ugly. Too small for index cards- had to cut them all down about 1/2 inch. Includes wedding shower invitations, envelopes, and recipe cards that say something like "favorite shared recipe" on top for your shower attendees to share a recipe with the couple.

First of all, the cards were ivory while the envelopes were white... The material was VERY flimsy and looked like it came from a dollar store. Not worth the [$]! Save your money and buy something else.

My wedding colors were Black, White & Green so I added a small piece of ribbon to each invite to add color! Loved them!!! I also used a fine point Sharpee Marker and didnt have any issues, invites are a glossy paper and may have trouble with some pens!

I really wanted a damask recipe box (the bridal shower invites are useless for me since I'm already married), and I thought this one would be perfect. This recipe box is really cute and the invites are beautiful too.I can't comment on the recipe cards since mine did not come with the set. Not only did the recipe cards not come with this, but it doesn't hold standard size recipe cards i.e. 3x5 or 4x6 as another reviewer mentioned. This is going back and I've already ordered a different damask recipe box from somewhere else. I'd recommend buying a different recipe box if thats what you are looking for.

the cards are great, although you need a special type of pen to write on them due to the waxy coat on the cards.

I ordered this gift set and it was not what I expected. It was very pretty, but the invites and recipe cards were pretty thin paper. There were no dividers in the recipe box either. I also tried to fit other "generic" recipe cards in it to see if you could use other ones since it only comes with 25 and they wouldn't fit. I was pretty dissapointed with what I got. Not worth the price.

These invites were the perfect design for a bridal shower I am helping to throw. The theme is black and white damask with accent colors, and before I even found these on line we had decided to ask for recipes from the guests. So, this was a great set! I did dress them up a bit more by adding a stick on flower to add color and to better match the theme, and it looked great. But it doesn't need it, and I was pleasntly surprised to find the invites were nicer than I thought they would be. Only negative (but not a big deal) is that the recipe box doesn't come with divider cards, so I ordered them separate from another website. And with the design on the envelope, it is a bit difficult to put a return address. I just put it on the back above the seal on the left side. All in all a great buy! Oh,and it may be helpful to know that I tried 4 different kinds of pens to fill in info, and found a regular roller ball pen works best. Just let it dry before touching the ink. Gel and permanent pens smeared and are a bad idea ;o)

A prior review mentioned that there was no number listed for how many invitations. In product descritpion, under "Details" it states that there are 25 invitations and 25 recipes. We bought these invitations, and they are perfect!

I am looking to order invitations for my sister's bridal shower. These would be perfect, they are exactly what I was looking for. The only question I have is how many come in the box? I have no idea how many I would have to order. This information should be included on the website.
