Description

Sette Modi Per Salvare Roma, ("Seven Ways to Save Rome") is a brand new Damo Suzuki album, documenting a vibrant live performance recorded in Rome in January 2011. Damo Suzuki's "network" is a global touring project, based on free music gatherings with local musicians around the world. The "Italian connection" of the former Can front man is well represented in this album of imaginative music performed by an "all star" line up, strategically featuring some of the most interesting musicians of the Italian alternative scene. A strong, creative and cohesive collective, including Manuel Agnelli (Afterhours) Enrico Gabrielli (Calibro 35, Afterhours) Xabier Iriondo (Afterhours, a Short Apnea, Uncode Duello) and Cristiano Calcagnile (S. Bollani, C. Dona'...)The resulting music develops through a kaleidoscope of free rock elements, melting and reshaping into wide open sound forms, with multi layered texturing perfectly fronted by Damo's inexhaustible vocal presence. A further step into a sound journey with no end.
