The rich yet elegant DAOU Reserve Chardonnay white wine from Paso Robles offers inviting aromas of lemon chiffon, white peach, ripe pineapple, and hibiscus flower, with accent notes of warm buttered toast, nutmeg, and clove from barrel-aging this wine in French oak. The mouthfeel is succulent and lively, displaying generous flavors of Crenshaw melon, pineapple, sliced nectarine, and vanilla bean. Impressions of hazelnut, Bosc pear, and honey round out the mid palate, leading to a crisp, clean finish. These 750 ml wine bottles of reserve chardonnay make excellent wine gifts.
