I was not too impressed on this conditioner. I didn't find any special high quality about it. 3-star quality although it smells like coconut.

There is nothing wrong with it. It is mild. But it does nothing for the dry hair. After 4 uses. Nothing has improved. I generally like Desert Essence products

I love this shampoo! It keeps my dry scalp balanced and thick hair soft. I find that using this, I only have to wash my hair every few days. I alternate with other shampoos and keep the flakes away. Very subtle scent, nearly unscented and ethical brand with no animal testing or chemicals. My hair and scalp love it, so I highly recommend it.

A great hair product and would give it 5 stars if they took the "fragrance" out and made it totally organic.

Tried this for first time when I saw on Swansons site. It moisturizes without an oily or heavy effect

I really like this product. I have sensitive skin and it’s gentle on it. Leaves young hair soft. 4 stars because it’s a little pricey.

My hubby and I both love this shampoo and have used it for 10+ years. No parabens or sulfates which is really important to me, but still lathers very well and doesn't feel heavy or weighs down your hair. We love the coconut smell - it's not too strong. I do rotate out with the DE fragrance free every few months since that's recommended for hair.

I have naturally curly hair which is dry and kinky. I used this one time and fell in love!!! It left my hair clean and very very soft and not weighed down amd greasy. No harsh chemicals. I wish had found this shampoo a long long time ago

Smells great, makes hair shine, and cleans well. One of mine and my husband's favorite shampoos.

I've been using this product for several years. I've never had to change products to get this one to "work again". My scalp is oily while my ends are dry. This conditioner doesn't make my scalp greasy like some other conditioners did. Fabulous product!

I have used this brand for a long time, but the price has gotten too high for what you get in the stores and here at Swanson also. It does not last long at all as it is very thick and you need quite a bit because of it. Some of the ingredients are also not the greatest. Will be trying other shampoo at this point.

This is an excellent conditioner for my overstressed, aging hair. Since i started dying my hair to cover some gray, my hair has become terribly brittle and dry and awful looking. I recently discovered that a home treatment of coconut oil makes a remarkable difference and I started looking for a natural conditioner that would give me some of that benefit every time I shampoo. This one is it. It's thick and luscious and really helps y hair look and feel much better. The aroma is natural and not overwhelming - in fact it's yummy - like muffin batter or something. I'm going to keep enough in my cupboard so I never run out. I use it a couple times a week.

People seem to LOVE this shampoo. I bought it because of the reviews. It is fine. The "coconut" flavor is more of a chemical Pina Colada than a coconut smell. I wouldn't buy it again.

I liked the way this conditioner felt when I first massaged it into my hair, but it was difficult to wash out. So, I ended up with greasy hair. With additional uses, I tried adjusting the amount of rinsing or used less conditioner, but then my hair was dry and frizzy.

This is a thick, delicious-smelling, superior-quality conditioner which replaced both Kevin Murphy and Living Proof brands of conditioner I have used, alternately, for years now. My hair is long, very thick, coarse, and wavy. It tends to be on the dry side which results in frequent dandruff if I am not using the perfectly balanced pH product. I just purchased my second bottle of this and intend to keep buying. This leaves my hair soft, manageable, non-frizzy, and lasts for days (I wash my hair twice a week to keep dryness under control). I also use it on my daughter's super sensitive curly-head-of-hair, but find that "Gentle Therappe" by Organix South (also purchased regularly from Swanson's) is a far better detangler with all the same qualities as Desert Essence Coconut Dry Hair conditioner.
