Dritz 12" Curved Ruler for Pattern Drafting Clear

I do tons of “free handing” curves and sometimes it is great and sometimes it is a mess. So when I saw there is a tool to help, I was elated. This thing is a LIFESAVER! I use it all the time on so many random things besides sewing. I love this ruler!

It's perfect if your making a shirt for the neck and arm holes. I like the curve of it and use my cutter often with it to cut rounded corners of my fabric.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've never had a curve ruler before, and now I wonder why I waited so long! I'm a weaver, and I sometimes sew my handwovens into garments. Before, I used paper and random found objects to work out the curves on necklines and collars. It felt like trying to do algebra. This curve ruler takes all the complicated guesswork out of creating my own garment patterns, which means I can get more done in a day. Awesome. You may not need it all the time, but when you do, it is indispensable.

The plastic is thick enough to be good and sturdy but not bulky. Overall it does the job I need it to and it seems like it will last a long time under typical use.
