Great for a margarita or just a shot with a lime. Has a nice smooth taste at this price point. Also a good tequila for a Mojito. I highly recommend it!

One of my go to brands for margaritas as home. Occasionally will use them for shots. You get a great value for your money. The aroma and flavor profile is pretty good and blends pretty easy with mixers.

Nice taste. Nice price.
For the price this is a pretty good tequila. It is 100% agave, which IMO is the only way to go. Goes nicely in palomas or straight, with no weird biting alcohol taste. If you are looking for budget friendly and quality this is a good choice.

Tequila
We received this as a gift. It was first time trying for us, normally don’t drink tequila but this was pretty good and different. My husband enjoyed it as well. It was first time trying for him as well. It wasn’t as strong. It had nice smooth taste. I definitely recommend it. If you haven’t tried it yet.

Not the best in my margaritas
I am partial to Jose Cuervo Especial Silver Blue agave...by far a much smoother and enjoyable tequila when making my fresh margaritas. el Jimador gave my margarita a weird after taste, almost like an herb (sage?) or something was soaking in the tequila. I can see where some would prefer that to mixed drinks and margaritas, but I think I’ll stick with my Jose!

This may not sound like a compliment, but I swear it is - Jimador is hands down the best “well” shelf tequila. If you’re looking for tequila on a budget - this is the way to go. Never suffer through Sauza or Cuervo again. Jimador has been my main for a while now.

El Jimador is on my list of go-to tequilas. I mostly use this in cocktails or margaritas. It really brings a great flavor to mixed drinks and you just know that your consuming tequila when this is mixed in your drink. It’s got a great smooth flavor and easy to sip on!
