Elliot Sharp - Cosmic Dusts (CD)

Elliot Sharp & Tim Motzer's debut improvised collaboration, Cosmic Dusts, was recorded in August 2025 at Sharp's zOaR Studio in NYC. Sharp, a pioneering guitarist and composer from the 80s downtown NYC scene, has built a prolific, genre-spanning body of work spanning Carbon, his blues band Terraplane, string quartets, operas, and releases on his own zOaR label. Motzer, a genre-bending guitarist, improviser, and producer, has worked with David Sylvian, Jaki Liebezeit, Ursula Rucker, and Percy Jones, releasing solo and collaborative work on his 1k Recordings label. Their first meeting sparked immediate chemistry, yielding six tracks that traverse imaginary landscapes and futuristic terrain.
