Q: Is the base of this unit 20inches? I see the photo says 20in, but looking at specifications it says depth is 29inches. Does the 29 include the keyboard overlap?

A: The specifications you are looking at are for the shipping carton. the required depth for the base frame is 20", yes, the keyboard tray would overlap

A: There are 4 foam/rubber pads that prevent the desk riser from moving and scratching the surface it is placed on
