Description

24 vintage tracks from this hugely influential Country Blues star of the 1930's. An original talent, Estes used his song writing skills like a journalist composing story songs about his neighbours and civic leaders of his home town. He recorded extensively in Memphis and New York and this overview of his classic recordings includes many that became revived in the rock era.
