eufy Security HomeBase S380 (HomeBase 3)

I brought the current Home S380 to replace one that just stopped working no matter what I did it simply blinked red! Unfortunately support was less than helpful! Of course once these are outside of the warranty period good luck with getting help! So when it’s worthy, it works fine, but it seems interesting that you couldn’t go back to the older homebase and the only other option was to go up higher to the more professional homebase. They kind of stuck if a product stops working and it’s kind of the essential portion of the entire surveillance and camera system. The warranty should be more than just one year for something that deals with such complex equipment.

Home Base gave us a little more range on our camera, and, of course, it gave us a lot more memory. Our camera doesn't always pick up our vehicle returning home though!

Great system works with Ai and keep you recordings local

I purchased the HomeBase in hopes I would be able to view video footage faster. Prior to the Base, I was limited the the download speed of the remote camera. Now all the video is archived directly to the Homebase allowing instant access to the videos. I was concerned the HomeBase would not be able to reach all the camera's, but it works great even with camera's mounted 200+ feet from the base. Very pleased!

Easy to setup easy to use. Only problem is that I can’t retrieve my old recordings from my original Homebase.

It comes with 16g memory if you want more you need to buy additional hard drive

I have the Eufy Homebase3 hooked up to my solar powered cameras that is connected to my cellphone for instant viewing. It's great to be able to see what is happening on my property as well as easily delete videos that are not needed. I have had this unit for about 1 month with zero issues. It was easy to setup too with plenty of storage capacity. Thanks Eufy Richard

Does what’s intended, although I wish it had an NVME slot for a SSD drive, not just a SATA interface.

I marked this down due to the process of viewing clips. When on the ipad or iphone in landscape orientation you cannot swipe across the screen to move between clips (Arlo system will allow this). Having to close the clip, then find other clips to open is a longer process that you should quickly fix.

This is exactly what I needed for my Eufy camera system. If you are going to use a multi camera set up for indoor and outdoor then this home base is a must. Before I was using individual SD cards. The Home Base S380 eliminates using the cards and it interfaces seamlessly with all the cameras. Works very well as a complete system. I am very pleased with this upgrade. I highly recommend the Eufy camera system. One caveat I wish the app can show all the cameras on line on my phone screen and show the live stream of each camera. Now you have to scroll to see the camera footage and you have to click on the camera image to see the live stream. Another improvement is that the camera images do not automatically change from previous view to current view. They remain in the previously viewed image until you click on the image to see live view. Eufy needs to improve this immediately. Other cheaper cameras and software work seamlessly.

Homebase has quite a learning curve with the alarm security features. Challenge to get the alarm disabled.

Anker, the seller and manufacturer accused me of returning a used item when i purchase a brand new item from them. never opened. they denied my of my return.

Easy to use and install and it's backed up in the Homebase, where it can be redeemed later in case of criminal activity!!! Great product help put a stop to crime!

Easy set up, I have 6 cameras running through it right now. I seems quicker that just using WIFI. The AI option is pretty cool, the way it tracks the same person with all the cameras. It stitches their movement. I will purchase a few more....

Added to connect to my eufy doorbells, and cameras.

Bought for vacation house. Added some cameras and now when we are a little over worked we can just check the cameras and see the property witch releases the stress.

Easy to setup. Easy to use. Excellent set of features. Easy expandability for storage needs.
