Review Quotes

"Intriguing and creepy, a dive into folk horror and family history full of twists and shocks."

- Adrian Tchaikovsky, Hugo Award-winning author of Children of Time

"... a gorgeous, atmospheric exploration of grief woven into the fantastical..."

- Laurel Hightower, author of CROSSROADS

"...Jendia Gammon blends metaphors and metaphysics in equal measure. The end result is a divine meditation on rural mythos matched with the all-too-human story of one woman's journey toward catharsis and enlightenment. In these often less than enlightened times, it's good to be reminded of the smaller miracles threaded throughout our lives."

- Patrick Barb, author of Abducted

"Appalachian Gothic meets organic horror in this atmospheric, claustrophobic tale."

- David Quantick, Emmy Award winning writer for VEEP and author of And Other Stories

"... Gammon knows menace and terror are tied to the landscape. Her Southern Appalachia exudes a darkest beauty."

- J.L. Worrad, author of Pennyblade and The Keep Within
