Review Quotes

"Luminous illustrations deploy simplified but specific forms with well-chosen detail accompanying minimal, repetitive words, resulting in a delicately wrought, immersive experience." --Kirkus

"While the simply written text creates a framework for the story, some elements appear in the appealing illustrations alone, giving room for children to use their imaginations in interpreting the narrative. An enjoyable read-aloud choice as spring gives way to summer." --Booklist
