Tasha Hilderman is the author of several books for young readers, including Métis Like Me and Lights at Night. In addition to being a published author, she is the co-owner of a home retail store and garden café. She is of Métis descent through her mother's side and a registered member of the Métis Nation of Alberta. Tasha lives with her husband and three children in Lloydminster, Alberta.
Paul G. Hammond is an award-winning illustrator based in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, where he lives in a house in the woods. He is the illustrator of the children's books Lobster's Vacation, The Terrible, Horrible, Smelly Beach and Worm on the Job.
