Description
Granny Smith apples have a bright green skin that is often speckled with faint white lenticels (spots). Their flesh is bright white and crisp in texture with a tart, acidic, yet subtly sweet flavor. Enjoyed fresh or in pies, salads, sauce, and baking, these apples are primarily grown in Washington.

Multiple apples that are damaged/marked up in bag. While I realize that produce can spoil quickly, it shouldn’t be on the shelves when it’s already there. It’s too expensive to pay for a poor product & have to re-purchase. And when selecting for laying customers I would make certain that I select the best produce for their purchase.

Is target really asking me to review an apple?
It would appear I bought an apple at Target one time. I have no bad memories associated with this purchase. I have to assume it was a good apple (no pun intended).

Ideal
Exactly what I was looking for. Perfect size for a single serving apple. Great for children and lunchboxes.

Not a great apple
I wanted to try out the fresh produce and I have to say, I’m disappointed with the single Granny Smith apple that I bought. The one I received has a nasty bruise on the top. I can cut it off, but for these prices I’ll stick to good eggs.

I bought several Granny Smith apples to make apple crisp. When I peeled them, all the apples were bruised and I had to cut out large brown spots.
