Q: can this be used to chop a 15 ounce can of chickpeas? I love to make my own hummus!
A: Yes! It works great for this and I've done it often. The chickpeas fit into the bowl with a little room for other ingredients. Put cover on, push down until smooth. Too thick? Lift lid, add oil or 🍋

Q: Can I chop dog kibble in to smaller pieces with this machine? I see it works for nuts.
A: If you rehydrate it, that’s what i do. Dry hard kibble will just ruin the blades.

Q: I am confusing between model 72850 and 72860? What is the wattage of each one and the bowl can be switchable ?
A: Thank you for your question. The Food Chopper model 72850 will operate at 350 Watts while model 72860 will operate at 175 Watts. The bowl are not interchangeable between the appliances.

Q: Does it chop veggies too finely? I want them chopped in chunkier pieces and not minced. In my experience, even after 3-4 seconds, it minces the veggies.

Q: will the chopper operate in a country running 220 V ~ 50 Hz?
A: Thank you for your question. Our appliances do not have dual voltage. We currently do not have any retail appliances which can be used with any voltage level other than 120 volts. We also cannot recommend that you use a power converter as they may cause permanent damage to the appliance.
