The activity book that comes with this set has such great ideas in it! I think it'll be good for some years to come, as even if we use up all the sticks, we can buy more. Great for a range of ages and as he gets older we will look to complete some of the more challenging builds, such as the ferris wheel! For now though, we have built the star and the boat – which was a great introduction to pattern making. The instructions are clear and written in a way that children can understand and follow.

I put this out while visiting family, within minutes my 7 year old and her 6 year old cousin were engrossed in making and inventing. It comes with lots of bits and an instruction book, theres lots of different things to make, some easy some more challenging. It's a great craft set with so many possibilities. We've made lots already, there is extra equipment provided and my daughter has also made lots of things that are not in the book. The projects are interesting, fun for the children and everything in the kit is sturdy so wont brake after one use. Its defiantly more than just a few lolly sticks in a box, there are so many cool projects included.

Craft Sticks Creations consists of a craft kit, including marbles.. a cork.. rubber bands and lolly sticks. Included with this kit is a fantastic book that guides you through different STEM activities with easy-to-follow experiments. Children use the kit's lolly sticks and other materials to make 10 different experiments with connections to energy, force, and motion, including Foosball, a Catapult, Newtons cradle. Marble maze and more.. The Activity Book offers clear, step-by-step instructions in words and pictures. My son (6) couldn't wait to start building, and following the photo instructions, with only minimal help, built a fantastic Ferris wheel that actually moves.! At first glance, you may think that it is quite overpriced for a kit that is mainly just lolly sticks.. but this kit is much more than that. The book is fantastic, and is a great learning tool. It can be used again and again to teach different force and motion. I would definitely recommend this kit to children that enjoy building.. The only thing I would say, is that this set does not come with glue, so make sure you stock up on that!.. I let my son use our glue gun to make his project, but alternatively, you can just use regular glue.

My 8 year old son loves to get creative and design and develop his own ideas. This stick set has kept him very busy over the summer holidays. It comes with lots of good size and different colour sticks, and a few extra bits like marbles and Cork, to create some of the designs inside the helpful and easy to follow booklet. It is great for use of one child or getting children to help each other and work as a team to build some of the ideas. He has so far built a table football set and a catapult! I would suggest you have a good glue gun to hand though as sticking the bits together can get a bit tricky.
