[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have never heard of Hatimals before 🤭 So this was pretty excited for the girls to receive this toy in exchange for our honest review. Thanks The packaging is cute and comes with a little rainbow carrying case, the instructions are a picture that shows you put the little egg in water and it cracks open. The girls LOVED this part. But then you need to peel all of the plastic off yourself and we weren't able to get all of the plastic off the eggs which made it sharp and too dangerous for my girls to play with. They come with tiny figures and little soothers for them, but we really weren't sure if we were supposed to keep the bottom egg with the jagged plastic. Because it didn't really come with instructions and the bottom egg had a spring where where the figure sat in, it made it seem like the two were ment to stay together but because of how sharp it was it made the design very confusing because the toy definitely wasn't safe. The figures are cute along with the carrying case but unfortunately we couldn't keep the egg base because of the dangerous design flaw.
New original toy experience. So neat!

The hatchimal babies literally hatch & rise up out of the eggs, while turning the water pretty glittery colors. The 2 babies are super cute and come with accessories such as a towel for their head, glasses & a soother. My daughter was so fascinated and loved this toy. The toy itself is ok but the accessories are never going to be found again, they are so small. I did not let my child play with the accessories for very long as I knew they would disappear very quickly. Using water to open up the Hatchimals is neat to see and I love the little bathtub. But from a parents point of view it is easy to lose and my child would be upset if it all got lost. What's more fun than giving something a bath with real water and watching it 'hatch' a cute little creature? So much suspense and delight. I was surprised how much she continued to play with it as well, even after they hatched. I found the little bathtub filled with water in our bathroom again just last night! Makes a good bath toy for the longterm and comes with cute little accessories. I had never heard of hatchnimals before, and my 4 and 7 year old boys were very excited to test it out. I gotta say, the hatching part was super fun, much quicker than the expandable water eggs they are used to. The design is cute and the hatchnimals are adorable, but they are super tiny. We lost a couple of them and their accessories as they are so small, but they are enjoying the ones that remain. Overall it's a cute toy, I just wish they were a bit larger.

My girls were really excited to get the Hatchimals and couldn't wait to open the box and put the little eggs in the water. It was really cool how the Hatchimals pop out of the egg and how the water in the tub changed colors. But would I buy this for my kids... probably not. They played with it for maybe 20 mins and haven't touched it since. The fun and exciting part is right at the beginning, and I feel like the accessories are so small and don't fit the Hatchimals properly, so they are constantly falling off making it hard to play.

They just recieved the Hatchimal Spring Basket and were immediately endeared to the cute animals you could see. The best fun was hatching the 3 eggs in the basket though. There is a bottle that you fill with water and then squirt into a hole in the egg and then the egg will crack and the animal will pop up! My kids were quite delighted and hatched the other eggs right away. Now that the initial hatching fun is over my 4 yr old has claimed the animals and likes to play with them and the bottle and pacifiers they come with. The only thing we don't about this toy is the basket the animals come in, my daughter tried to carry the animals in it but found they easily fall out, it would be nice if it was more shaped to hold the animals not just the eggs. - Product received for free from Butterly.com in exchange for an honest review

My 4 and 6 year olds both enjoyed the surprise and then continued play with these little hatchimals. It was quick and easy to set up with just a bit of water. The kids love anything water related so good start. The little surprise characters were cute and the bathtub let's them continue with colour changing fun. The only con I saw was the part they hatch out of seems like unnecessary garbage. I'd rather it be something they can continue to use.

My daughter was so eager to open the package and starting playing with her cute Hatchimals. The playset comes with easy readable instructions which we followed and set the cute pink bathtub. Once the bathtub was filled with water we inserted the eggs that hatched itself. The cute Hatchimals were out and she started playing with it. She even gave names to them: Kiki and Lala. The playset is easy to use and great for kids 3 plus year older. Love the quality of this playset and how entertaining it is for kids. Great product, I totally recommend it.
