Unicorn Academy Cinder's Campfire Set

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a very detailed set with folding table and interactive flame in the fire pit and includes a mini marshmallow stick for roasting. My daughter liked that the horse was articulated and able to lay down beside the fire.

She has enjoyed story telling play with it! Very cute! My own thing is with such tiny pieces make sure your child knows not to out it in their mouth. They are also very easy to lose.

It strikes a great balance between action-figure durability and traditional hair-and-saddle play, and camping! What I love the most with this set, is you can include the other duos/tandems (for people who collects them), and role play camping. Making it more enjoyable for kids to play.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We weren't familiar with Unicorn Academy in our household prior to receiving this toy. However, this has now turned us on to the entire UA universe! The set is camping themed and really well made, particularly when compared to other doll/horse sets for girls that are on the market right now. The set centres around the horse Cinder and her companion human Valentina. All four of Cinder's legs are moveable, as is her entire back half. She comes with a saddle with foot stirrups, that can be either tightened or removed altogether. A little silly to say but I was really impressed with how silky smooth and glossy Cinder's faux hair and tail are! Valentina herself is incredibly poseable - it's actually possible to place her on the saddle and her feet in the stirrups so that she's riding Cinder, which I thought was a really cool touch. There's also a foldable table, tiny stool, stick with marshmallows, two tiny tea cups, and a campfire piece (with a "flame" that pops up when you press a button) with hanging teapot. It was really nice to see a children's toy that has so much thought put into it, rather than just block pieces of plastic that don't do anything. My ten year old was really into this set, as both a fan of horses (and unicorns) and camping. It ended up being a perfect thematic fit, but now she's very interested in checking out more from this series. There's definitely more fun to be had with these sets than the usual suspects.

Upon opening the box, both my daughter and niece instantly got involved setting up the campfire and started playing with the figures and accessories. They loved roasting s'mores and pretend playing by drinking tea and brushing the unicorn manes. They also enjoyed creating their own adventures and this kept them entertained for a while. I recommend this set as it is made of good quality and is quite durable plus great for imaginative play. The kids were quite happy acting out their favourite stories. This toy is well made featuring good size figures, design and the colours used. A good playset to add to Unicorn Academy collection. This also makes a great gift idea so I will definitely consider buying this one in the future and will be checking out more similar ones from the Unicorn Academy for my kids collection.

She had a fun time setting up the campfire and cups and pushing down and then releasing the fire pit. The horses legs move more then I thought they would and she liked brushing her hair. The toy is small but works well for my daughters small hands. Toddler approved!

She spent a long time using it the first day and still keeps reaching for it during playtime. She loves Barbie and Chelsea dolls, and she was excited that her Chelsea dolls fit perfectly on the unicorn. The campfire accessories are really cute and add a lot to imaginative play. The unicorn itself is a great size with pretty details and colors. Overall, this was a big hit in our house and a fun toy for kids who love dolls, unicorns, and pretend play.
