Love this lamp
Easy to install, beautiful. Suits many decors. Elegant. Good amt of light. I purchased medium fir fouer, and small for second level directly above (staircase and foyer area is open, so both ligh fixtures can be seen at one time

Hinkley Light
The light looks nice, but it has a very visible raised seem on the shade that is not flush and you can see the material is bent over. I tuned the shade so that I don't have to see it when I sit in the living room. We have low ceilings, so it is more visible. It's a pretty expensive light to have such a cheap shade.

Big, bold and super easy to install.
After having so many ceiling lights that are 12" in diameter or under I decided to go larger and it was exactly the solution I needed. This 20" wide lamp is wide enough to throw enough light up to the ceiling and back down again. This provides soft ambient light throughout the room, instead of a glaring spotlight that blazes down and the ceiling is dark. I bought this fixture for a small home office which is 10' x 12' in size. The flush mount covering the junction box is also nice and big and hides sloppy drywall work around the junction box from the builder, which most lamp makers don't consider! A great plus - this fixture took my husband and I only 10 minutes to install! The easy light fixture we have ever installed, ever! And we have installed many, many light fixtures over the years. Even though the price is a bit high, I am very happy with this purchase. Over the years I have noticed that I am happier with the purchases that, even though are more expensive, they have done a better job and with less headache, so I hope lamps plus continues to offer products like this! Lastly, go big and bold is what I have learned in my years of decorating.
