I've been looking for a new hamper to replace the one my husband has pretty much ruined by tossing his damp clothes "over" and not "in" over the years. The stiff cardboard inside the fabric that collapsible one was made of, although it was fairly good quality, just couldn't stand up to his abuse. Plus, it was admittedly a good number of years old. There aren't many really good ones with a liner I can lift out available any more. I've been looking, and the reviews don't cut it unless I want to pay a high price, which I don't. The wood frame on this one attracted me, and I took the risk with the low price and a good coupon. Sure enough, I had it assembled in approximately 12 minutes, and I'm 62 with a bad back, so it's an easy assembly. The instructions are very clear, not a mis-translated foreign language that I siimply can't interpret. They are even printed large enough for my older eyes to see with reading glasses. Once I had it together, it felt quite sturdy, though I certainly won't be sitting atop it. I think I'll be able to stuff plenty of clothes into it. It's taller than my last one, and about as wide, and I was able to fit clothes for a week for the two of us in that one. I think this is a good quality product, and for the low price compared to the rest on the site, it's an excellent value. The wood is not the cheap, thin stuff at all, except maybe on the slender rod that is inserted in the front of the fabric for the lid, which just helps you toss it over the top and doesn't take any weight. The rest appear to be nice and thick and appreciably strong. I heartily recommend this hamper. It's a great buy.
