This book is a great tool to help young kids dealing with a medical condition and frequent doctors visits and procedures. It's honestly disgusting the 1 star reviews on here because they clearly do not even know what the book is about. It's a congenital medical condition where the urethra needs surgical correction, and for the one star reviewers to just jump to conclusions without even reading a synopsis is crazy. You should educate yourself before opening your mouth.

Can you people please read what the book is actually about before jumping to conclusions and thinking this is something related to gender reassignment. This is a procedure that is necessary when the urethra is in an incorrect location. It can be scary to have surgery when you are little. This is literally to help ease anxiety. Educate yourself before you assume anything.

Do not be fooled by the negative one star reviews from hasty generalizers who automatically assume this has to do with hot button topics of ongoing gender debates. This is extremely appropriate for people who need it. No shame in explaining medical procedurea to children. I hope any child who has to go through this type of procedure can benefit from it and doesn't feel othered because some people think it's inappropriate for humans to have genitals.
