About the Author

Mirko Bagaric, (LLM, Ph.D.), is Head of Deakin Law School. He has published several books on a multitude of issues, such as migration and refugee law; corporate governance; privacy; criminal legislation; euthanasia; torture; punishment and sentencing; and various articles on moral philosophy within governments, corporations, and the private sector.
