With every record I make, I try to do something that I haven't done before." states Rudolph. "And with this record I wanted to further explore a kind of trance groove / concept I have been developing that I call 'Sonic Mandala'. Vibe Ride is the fullest expression of that concept because we had been on tour before the recording which allowed us to develop our ideas and tune in to the chemistry between us. It felt so natural, perhaps in part because these musicians have all been performing with me in my Go: Organic Orchestra and Moving Pictures ensembles for so many years and so are very familiar with my music concepts.
