If Summer Never Ends - by Jenn McKinlay (Paperback)

Book Synopsis

Chance Walker never planned to retire at thirty-six. But when his band implodes mid-tour, leaving him unemployed and creatively frustrated, he flees to the one place that ever felt safe--the guesthouse on Tilly Goodwin's sprawling, weathered South Carolina estate. A foster kid used to constant upheaval, Chance found the closest thing to family in Aunt Tilly, the neighbor who taught him guitar and encouraged his love of music.

What Chance doesn't expect when he arrives home in the middle of the night is to find a woman sleeping soundly in his bed.

As it turns out, Aunt Tilly's new home nurse is none other than Rory Hollis, the woman who captured Chance's heart during their magical summer ten years ago and inspired his chart-topping greatest hit. But Chance left Rory behind to pursue his career in music, and she has never forgiven him for breaking her heart. As Chance and Rory spend the summer caring for Aunt Tilly, they'll both have to face the music and decide if their rocky past is worth losing the only person who ever felt like a future.
