Imminent Hostility - (Innate Hostility) by Brian David Simmons (Paperback)

Book Synopsis

Life for Cole is just survival. Hiding from his past is paramount but isolation, loneliness, and boredom weigh heavier with each passing day. That is, until he encounters Dominique. Everything takes on new meaning as she becomes the love of his life. But things aren't always as they appear; Dominique has secrets all her own. Kevin and Cole are soon drawn into a high-tech clandestine underworld and discover the secret of all secrets: imminent hostility like the world has never seen is about to be unleashed. As the apocalyptic hour approaches, Kevin and Cole must draw on all their strengths, not just for their own survival - but also for that of the United States of America.

Review Quotes

Great action adventure and a picture of what could actually happen. The story ended so quick it left me wanting more. Dominique was perfect for Cole, but I was disappointed when she . . .

Rex Riley, Godley Texas

Awesome. I really liked Dominique.

Kelly Hess, Ennis Montana

This book was a great follow on to Innate Hostility. Cole and Kevin still have a bit of an unsteady partnership, not quite trusting each other yet, but getting there. Dominique was a great addition. And who knew that Jack the pilot had that in him! Good story, plenty of action. Looking forward to the next book.

Joni Endicott, Mendon Utah

I love the story line and all the characters. Joe and Sylvia are very special. Interaction between Kevin and Cole is way cool. But I feel bad for Cole who can never live a normal life. Dominique was awesome. She and Cole would have been an unstoppable couple.

Patty Ault-Mota, Rupert Idaho

It's good. I really liked it. The only thing I didn't like was that Dominique . . . I was really getting to like her.
