A winner of three international jazz trombone competitions, Jackson radiates joy, reflection, and hope through his horn, and his original compositions showcase a distinctive lyrical voice. His debut album takes inspiration from experiences as a performer and full time educator living in Des Moines, Iowa, and the band consists of Jackson's closest peers and mentors. Written, recorded, and produced in his home state, "On Your Mark" is a thanksgiving of Jackson's early triumphs and an anticipation of feats to come.
