Java End Table - International Concepts

I had never heard of para wood before this table. I read that is was wood from expended rubber trees that was treated to make it viable for furniture production. I was pleasantly surprised at how heavy and solid the table was. The base of the top is screwed together. The legs have a metal sleeve to screw them to the top. The top is a butcher block style. The table takes stain well. I am pleased with the purchase. I also found if you search for "International Concepts" you will find that Target carries almost 200 furniture items from this manufacturer. I plan on purchasing additional items from this line. Remember that you have to finish (stain or paint) before use. Most finishes require at least 24 hours to be ready for normal use.
