LOVE! I bought this table because I couldn't find the finish I wanted in other tables. Loved the fact that I could finish to my specifications! Quality ( big & HEAVY) table - looks and feels expensive. I stained the shelves a dark walnut (one coat) and a couple coats of finish and painted the legs white (two coats). I didn't have a huge issue with the stain - some places didn't take the stain as well, but because I wanted a more farm wood, weathered look, it worked out perfectly. Easy assembly. Well worth the price!

We absolutely love our new end table. It is a great size, perfect color, and very sturdy. It is a little bit darker in color that it shows in the picture, which is exactly what we wanted. It took my husband less than a half an hour to put together. It will definitely last us for many, many years!

Easy to put together and easy to paint !

I have purchased 4 items in this line. The square coffee table, 2 end tables and the console table. They are beautiful solid wood which can be painted or stained. I left it natural. It looks clean and neutral. They are solid. You would pay twice the price on a furniture store. They put together in a snap. I recommend highly.

Purchased three end tables and the coffee table under $500 with shipping they all came on the same day and were wrapped sufficiently as none of them were damaged (took 5 days). As instructions go, they help slightly. The tables come in 4 pieces with 8 screws each so how hard could it be? The building of the tables is pretty much self explanatory and extremely easy. They even give you the tool you need (I used a drill with a hex head) They took the very sharp edge off the corners and slightly rounded them so they look squared but feel smooth to the touch. No wobble in the tables as the cuts are very exact. The poplar wood looks beautiful I haven't stained mine yet but will because they're very easy to take apart. The "X" portion of the tables is not flimsy and wont break easily at all which was my biggest worry! The tables are very sturdy just tighten all the screws until they wont turn anymore. The hardest part is putting on the bottom shelf I did my build with the table on the side after I attached the legs and it was easy peasy. Totally Happy with the purchase buy with no fear I say and yes all three have different wood grains in the table top surface and bottom shelf surface. Enjoy
