A: Hi there! All of our Jetson Hoverboards are equipped with active-balance technology to ensure a smooth, self-balancing ride! However, your Pixel Hoverboard will still require regular recalibration (once monthly, or every 10 rides--whichever comes first). You may also need to recalibrate more often than that if you switch riding terrain often (i.e. going from concrete to grass) to ensure the board stays balanced and provides the best ride possible! When you recalibrate, please follow the steps below THREE TIMES BACK-TO-BACK to ensure a proper recalibration:
Here are the correct recalibration steps:
** Please make sure there is NO weight on the board during this process (you may want to rest the device against the wall) and the wheels are level (you may need to physically move the pedals level)**
Remove any kart attachments from the hoverboard.
1. Make sure the board is off and on a flat surface.
2. Hold the power button for between 5-15 seconds until the unit starts to beep and the light begins to flash. Then let go.
3. Next, turn the board off and wait for 5-10 seconds.
Please repeat these steps 3 times in a row for a hard reset before trying the device.

Defective item has tag with misleading tech support and potential scam

Do not buy- it worked for 15 mins, never recharged and would not power back on. Biggest concern was a red tag on the hoverboard that directed us to not return to Target but visit a website - if you were not careful with the website URL, the actual site did not exits, without 1 “.” you are directed to what appears to be a scam “just answers” site that asked a couple of trouble shooting questions before prompting for payment- and said it would just do a $1 refundable charge- this is not accurate, you are agreeing to a $40/per month charge. We returned the defective hoverboard to target and they refunded us our money- do not buy and if you do and it’s defective, take back to Target, DO NOT pay for online tech support!

My daughter did love this initially but after less than a year, the battery doesn’t hold a charge and she has not overused it at all. . One full charge lasts only about 15 minutes. This is not acceptable especially for the price. It’s basically not usable anymore

I got this for my daughter for Christmas, but it sat in the box until the ice melted. When she got it out in June, we got two uses out of it and one side stopped working and sounded like rocks. No warranty from Jetson, since it has been more than 90 days, even though it was WINTER! Really shady company, if you ask me.

Bought this for a Christmas gift for my 8 year old daughter . Warning this is a very dangerous toy. My adult son who is an avid skateboarder even had trouble with this and said it was hard. We returned before we ended up in the hospital. But as far as the board itself it was make well and would be fun if you probably took the time to learn it .

So disappointed with this purchase. Got it for my daughter for Christmas. She only used it few times inside a house and it is already running issues that makes it impossible to use. When it is turned on it is just start running like crazy by itself without even anyone standing on it. We tried to recharge it and try again and the is a smell and smoke coming out of it. Total piece of trash. Do not recommend!

Love that it’s self leveling and the lights are bright. The white/clear board allows for a light show! Lights with the beat if using bluetooth. Yes, it’s LOUD when it announces it’s on or Bluetooth is connected. Holds a charge for a good while

I bought this as a Christmas present for my daughter. Being from Pennsylvania in December, she had to wait to ride it. We took this out about a week ago and it worked perfectly. We put the hover board on the charger. The charger said it was charging after a couple hours the charger said it was charged when we turned it on the battery said it was dead. I tried reaching out to customer service, but because I purchased the hover board in December and it is now May the 90 day return policy has lapsed so I wasted all my money so my daughter could ride her Hoverboard one time. I'm extremely disappointed. My daughter was extremely patient She wanted to go out so many times to ride her hover board and couldn't because of the weather And now that it's nice out, she has nothing to ride. What a joke!! Shame on you jetson!!!

Oh no! We are so sorry to hear your daughter's Pixel isn't holding a charge and we want to do everything we can to assist! Below are some tips our riders have confirmed got them riding again quickly: • Only use the charger that came with your Jetson hoverboard—or a replacement that is specific to your model. • Always plug the charger into the wall outlet before plugging it into your hoverboard. • Never overcharge the battery by leaving it plugged in overnight or for extended periods of time. • Do not turn on the hoverboard while it’s charging. • Charge your hoverboard to full capacity before storing it for long periods of time. While in storage, fully charge it once a month to maintain good battery and charger health. You should consider charging the Pixel when it reaches 1 solid green light on the battery indicator.
