Super yummy and taste just like real eggs! Perfect for breakfast sandwiches, egg bites, or omelets! Love having a healthier option than eggs

Expensive But Good
Yes, it's expensive but worth it in my book. I LOVE having these on hand when I want an omelette. Tastes best (to me) when you cook it "hard" even though I always preferred my eggs soft (when I did eat eggs). The flavor/texture of this isn't as good if cooked soft.

Missing Expiry Date
I recently received a Just Egg carton that was completely missing an expiry date. I've also received cartons when picking up that where nearly past expiry. Just wish the stock was fresher.

Great egg-like scramble
This is (usually) a great product. It expires quickly and sometimes goes bad (gets moldy) before its expiration date, which is unfortunate considering the high price. You have to open and check it before shaking it up. But there is nothing else like it. Our kiddo who can't have eggs absolutely loves it scrambled - would eat it for every meal. If only it was in stock...

Lil moldy today.
Stars reflect a typical reception of the product. Posting a review so that brand monitors are aware of the problem. I've been using this product for many years now, and know the use-by date is real. I respect it. This morning I opened a fresh carton for the week, four days to go on the use-by date (01/31/25) and I found a mold blob floating on top, which appeared to be the same size and shape of the little plastic plug you have to pop out before first use. I've had a couple of lumpy situations back when it was packaged in plastic bottles, but never mold. Uhg. I don't know which parent trained me to look inside the carton before I shake up the contents, but I owe them an apple pie or something.

Great buy
I have an egg allergy. This stuff has the same consistency as eggs and is great for scrambled eggs or omelettes!!

Not as good as I had hoped.
Disappointing. I thought using 1/2 Just Egg and 1/2 whole eggs in a quiche was a good idea. The quiche was very dense and solid, with none of the lightness I was expecting. I used the Just Egg to brush puff pastry for browning. It was great for that, but fairly thick.

So not egg like, save your money
For all y’all that said this is good, I’m finding your moms to tell them they raised liars. From an egg eater who is now allergic, this is nothing like eggs. It tastes awful, it’s clumpy grossness. I will sincerely go back to regular eggs and suffer the consequences cuz this expensive stuff made by the devil as a joke isn’t it

Spot on - best vegan egg on the market and
I’ve been eating just egg for many years and I’m consistently shocked at how similar this is to scrambled eggs I grow eating. It’s really great and an omelette and you can even mix it with soft tofu to get more use out of the package similar to a tofu scramble. I’ve also seen just egg and tofu baked into an egg patty for breakfast sandwiches. If you think that eating eggs is gross or wrong there’s no reason you have to give up the food that you grew up eating and, just egg is the perfect solution.

So good!
Love this! Wish it was cheaper, but it’s worth purchasing every grocery run. My daughter (toddler) likes it more than real eggs.

Check For Mold
I love just egg, but found MOLD in my carton I just paid $7.49 for yesterday (6/30/2024) that doesn’t expire until 7/25/2024. How can I get a refund, Target?

Target is so didappointing latey.
I’m rating this as a one star because Target included it in a drive up order and it was almost a month past its sell by date. Instead of giving me a FULL REFUND in the form of payment. I was given a $5.00 gift card which was half the amount of the item. Do better Target. So disgusted with retailers these days.

Coming Around To Them!
I used to really not like this product. As someone who sincerely enjoyed eggs and later developed an egg white allergen, I felt hopeless about eating scrambled eggs. I tried the liquid again recently and I am really coming around to it. Maybe they made it better?? I’m not sure, but I’ve been making impressive scrambles the past few days that I’ve really enjoyed. My only issue is that it doesn’t fully taste like an egg, but it certainly has the mouthfeel. I’ve been sprinkling a little black salt to give it that sulphuric eggy taste. If I mix it with other things, like cheese, bacon, etc — put it on some toast with a little ketchup. It’s great!! Feel like I can get my AM protein and enjoy “eggs” again.

Over priced for target, wonderful product
My only complaint is that target has changed the price from $4.99 to $7.49 in months. Crazy. I love this product, I can make scrambled eggs or use it to make vegan crepes, I’ve used it in almost every capacity possible and love that it succeeds every time. It had come a long way since they first introduced it and I would love to be able to continue supporting this company but may have to find somewhere else to purchase it.

Decent but overpriced
It's a decent egg alternative. The serving size is relatively small so you may find yourself using more of it depending on what you add to your dish. I also recommend using cooking spray or a light olive oil coat, even on nonstick pans, as it can get under pan bolts. It can also make a "crunch film" if you aren't moving it constantly when cooking. The product is losing its value quickly as it has already gone up to $7.49 in my area (it started around $5.49) in a short timespan. I personally, will go on without it if this trend continues.

Great for scramble, baking, omlettes
Love the new packaging. We’ve been eating these since they came out and have been overly frustrated with getting moldy bottles. Their packaging process clearly wasn’t working with bottles. Haven’t had a single moldy one since the new packaging. I also love that there’s more in the box. This makes a great scrambie breakfast for the hubs and I. I do find rhat I need to add more salt to them now but I am sure that is a coincidence and not the new release

Love the new container!
I am on a plant based diet and have eaten these almost daily for several years. I sauté on medium heat, any vegetables and mushrooms I have on hand for 3 minutes. I add 1/3 cup of the “egg” mixture and cook, covered on low for an additional 3 minutes. They are yummy! I am also thrilled, they no longer put them in a plastic container. The new container is easier to open and more ecologically friendly.
